University card

The university card or student card identifies you as a student at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and allows you to enjoy the services available to you. It also allows you to identify yourself as a student in congresses, museums, etc. and get discounts.

This university card is provided by the Banco de Santander, thanks to the agreement between the UAB and this banking institution. The university card is NOT a financial card nor is it linked to any bank account.

How to obtain it?

If you are a student with new access to the UAB and the EUSS you will have to ask for the university card yourself and activate it at the moment you receive it, in order to have it fully operational. Read the application and activation procedures below.

I have lost or my university card has been stolen.

 You can request a new university card by making a new application. As soon as you receive it, you will have to activate it.

When will I have it?

If you make the request for the form and deliver the appropriate photo, within a maximum period of three weeks you should receive it at your home address. Then you can activate it through the form.

If you need it urgently, you can go personally to the Banco Santander office located in Plaza Cívica of the UAB, and they will do it to you and activate it at the moment. Also, if necessary, they can also take the picture.
